Blue Southwestern Blanket or Throw is soft brushed acrylic fabric.  Not coarse or rough like sheep wool – super soft!

This geometric design is great for Southwest style decor, or rustic style decorating.  We love the turquoise and cream in this  Blue Southwestern Blanket! It looks great in a Western-style living room or bedroom (and many customers buy them for their campers).

We have 2 sizes: This Queen-sized brushed acrylic blend blanket, measures 80” wide x 90” long.   This blanket is so easy to care for – Machine wash cold, delicate cycle. Line dry.

Couch throw also available, it measures 80″ x 45″.

All our products are made by native Ecuadorian crafters in Otavalo, a town high in the Andes that has been crafting fine textiles for over 500 years.  Each generation has passed their knowledge and skills down to the next, and the younger generations innovate and adapt to new technology and preferences. We know our artisans personally and pay them fairly.

We’ve been working with some of our crafters over 15 years, winnowing out those who provide us inferior products and retaining only the finest quality work.  You can order from us with absolute confidence – we’re picky!

While we strive to depict products accurately, sometimes the image will vary slightly from the product you receive due to changes in yarn dye lots or photography lighting.

Note:  We’re not gonna lie! Alpaca fleece has become increasingly difficult to obtain in Ecuador.
