Description

Our Mountain Blankets are delightfully soft.

These mountain blankets are great to snuggle in aprés-ski, or just on a rainy day!  Skiers LOVE this blanket, but you don’t have to ski to appreciate its snuggle-ability!  Unlike many blankets depicting mountains, these blankets are not itchy.  Their “hand” (that’s textile technical speak for how it feels) is lightweight and supply soft.

These mountain blankets will look great in your mountain cabin or condo.  Approximately 80″ wide by 90″ long, fits queen or double beds.  Super soft alpaca-acrylic blend (about 10% alpaca, 90% acrylic, depending on what is available at time of weaving). Machine washable, cold water.  Line dry.

The mountain depicted is Mt. Hood, in Oregon. We love the Hoodland villages and community in  . . and are grateful to our fellow businesses, including the Mt. Hood Cultural Center & Museum, our hosts in summer 2022 and 2023!

The attractive geometric border is reminiscent of Indian blankets, and no wonder – All our products are made by native Ecuadorian crafters in Otavalo.  These South American indigenous weavers have been practicing textile craft for generations.

While we strive to depict products accurately, sometimes the image will vary slightly from the product you receive due to changes in yarn dye lots or photography lighting.
